Media Design Assistant (m/f/d) Print and Digital

Your tasks

• You lay out our brands' catalogues and price lists in InDesign and keep them up to date: new items, changed prices, new images.
• You design flyers, promotional sheets and sales material for salons and retailers, in print and digital.
• You give offers and promotions a clean visual form so our sales team can pass them on right away.
• You cut out and retouch product images in Photoshop and create simple graphics and icons in Illustrator.
• You prepare print-ready files (bleed, colour profiles, PDF/X) and coordinate with print shops.
• You adapt existing templates into material for the online shop, newsletters and social media.
• You keep templates, images and logos organised so everyone on the team quickly finds what they need.

What you bring

• Completed training as a media designer for digital and print, or a comparable qualification; career starters are welcome
• Confident use of Adobe Creative Cloud, especially InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat
• Experience with print files and a good eye for typography, imagery and clean layouts
• Attention to detail: in a catalogue, every item number and every price has to be right
• Good written and spoken German; English is an advantage

What we offer

• For our own brands Thurp and Detreu, you actively shape the brand presence instead of just following guidelines
• Modern equipment: current hardware and the full Adobe Creative Cloud
